91制片厂 College of Professional Studies Online Offers Fire Service Pathway and Tuition Benefit to Lakes Region Community College Students

The 91制片厂 College of Professional Studies Online is excited to announce a new tuition discount pathway opportunity for community college students accepted to . This new tuition discount is available for fire service students and alumni from Lakes Region Community College (LRCC).

LRCC students can receive a tuition discount of 20% off the in-state tuition rate regardless of residency. To be eligible, students must have completed or be on-track to complete an A.S. Degree in Fire Science Technology at MWCC, or an A.S. in Fire Science at LRCC.

Lead faculty member in the 91制片厂 CPS Fire Service Administration Program, Nick Mercuri, discussed the benefits of providing an accessible, affordable pathway for fire service professionals to advance their education:

About 91制片厂 CPS鈥檚 B.S. Fire Service Administration Program:

The is a bachelor鈥檚 completion program that prepares fire service professionals with the leadership, management, and administrative knowledge and skills essential to advance in the fire service field. The program integrates the knowledge and skills necessary to mitigate fire and emergency services' ethical, moral, social, and situational challenges.

鈥淏eing professional, thorough, knowledgeable, inquisitive, moral, and ethical are character traits that are most critical to being a firefighter. The degree program helped me develop those skills by exposing me to important literature, laws, moral and ethical issues, and leadership skills I had never thought about or knew existed.鈥
