Paul College continues to flourish due to the generosity of alumni and friends. Thank you to all our alumni and donors who provide strategic support for Paul College through their philanthropy and investment in our programs and students.  

Clarke R. ’78 ’92 and Laurie L. Chandler, made a commitment through their estate to create the Clarke R. and Laurie L. Chandler Scholarship Fund which will support need and merit-based students enrolled in Paul College, with a preference for New Hampshire students.  

Dedicated 91��Ƭ�� volunteer and former Dean of Paul College, Deborah Merrill-Sands, has made a generous commitment to the Deborah Merrill-Sands Endowed Scholarship Fund, established in 2022 by a group of generous alumni to honor her retirement. The Deborah Merrill-Sands Endowed Scholarship Fund provides merit-based scholarship support to Peter T. Paul College of Business and Economics students participating in high caliber programs such as, but not limited to, Paul Scholars, Rutman Fellows, and other similar initiatives. 

Distinguished alum, Ron Noble ‘79, made a gift in honor of his parents Rosemarie and James L. Noble, Sr. Ron's parents met while James was serving the US military in World War II in Germany, Rosemarie's home country. Ron made his first gift on their 70th wedding anniversary. Ron established the Rosemarie and James L. Noble Sr. Faculty Endowed Fund to fuel excellence in research and teaching by attracting new faculty and rewarding and retaining existing faculty members to Paul College. This endowed gift, along with a current-use gift to the Paul College Financial Policy Center, will perpetuate Rosemarie and James L. Noble Sr.'s legacy and the value they placed on education.  

Alumni volunteer and Paul College Dean’s Advisory board member, Thomas D. Malkoski ’78, has made a generous donation to establish the Thomas D. Malkoski ’78 Scholarship Fund. The Thomas D. Malkoski ’78 Scholarship Fund provides scholarships to help support high-caliber student scholarship programs within Paul College such as the Inclusive Leadership Fellows program and Paul Scholars.  

Impax Asset Management, a specialist asset manager investing in the transition to a more sustainable economy, reinvested in the Pax Scholarship Fund, founded in 2022, a merit-based scholarship to support students in Paul College with a GPA of 3.0 or higher, and a demonstrated focus in sustainability and sustainable investing. 

Long-time donors, Larry ‘71 and Leslie Cook made a generous investment in Paul College Undergraduate Scholarships for Excellence. The scholarship fund allows Paul College to attract top students admitted to Paul College and has supported dozens of students over the years in attaining their degrees. 

Theodore “Ted” ‘75G and Christine Ristaino renewed their support with a generous contribution to their existing William “Bill” Wetzel Scholarship Fund. The scholarship provides merit-based scholarship to students with a demonstrated interest in Angel Investing and who are members of the Rines Angel Investment Fund. The Ristainos created the scholarship in 2021 to honor Bill Wetzel, who had a tremendous impact on Ted’s life, and was a Professor of Management at Paul College and the former founding Director of the Center for Venture Research recognized for coining the term “angel” investing.  

Proud International Hospitality Advisory Board member and volunteer, Ken Wilson ‘81, and Laurie Wilson renewed their investment in the Ken ‘81 and Laurie Wilson Hospitality Management Scholarship which provides renewable meritorious scholarship support to hospitality students, with a preference given to students who are studying or have a demonstrated interest in finance or real estate. 

Arun ‘72G ‘73G and Linda ‘72G Taneja, have created the Arun ‘72G ‘73G and Linda ‘72G Taneja Endowed Scholarship fund, which provides scholarships to Paul College students with a preference for New Hampshire residents, first-generation students, and those who demonstrate a commitment to community service.  

Elizabeth Bogan ‘67G has established the Bogan ‘67G Economics Graduate Program Awards Fund, an award fund that recognizes superior scholarship and academics among graduate students in Economics. 

Robin Huntley ’70, has made an additional investment to advance the Snodgross Family Legacy Fund, which was created in June 2023 through a generous gift through her estate. This award honors and recognizes the achievements of graduating undergraduate students at Paul College, with a preference for students from New Hampshire.  

John Weston ‘80, made a commitment through his estate to support Paul College Dean’s Strategic Initiatives.  

Michael Runser ‘83 made an additional commitment to invest in students through the Bernard Runser ‘63 Paul College Scholarship for Excellence. The scholarship was established in 2017 by Michael in honor of his father Bernard and provides scholarship support to top tier applicants admitted to Peter T. Paul College of Business and Economics.  

Colwen Hotels, one of the largest hotel owners and operators in the Northeast, partnered with Paul College to establish the Colwen Hotels Scholarship. This scholarship will provide scholarships for students enrolled in Peter T. Paul College with a preference for students studying hospitality. 

Long-time advocates of the Rosenberg International Franchise Center, Ann Rosenberg and the ARC Family Foundation made a generous contribution to support the ongoing work of the RIFC to explore and advance the understanding of franchising through academic research, education, and outreach.  

An anonymous donor has made a significant donation to establish a scholarship fund and programmatic fund to support students transferring into Paul College from engineering programs.

2024 (603) Challenge

The 10^th Annual (603) Challenge had another incredibly successful year at Paul College raising a record-breaking $373,307 for 52 areas across Paul College, representing a 14% increase over the previous year. Thanks to over 500 donors and a record number of underwriters, more scholarships, academic programs, and student orgs than ever before were able to take part in the challenge.
