
Longtime 91制片厂 employee Kerry听L.听Scala has been named the 91制片厂鈥檚 new associate vice president for finance.听Scala brings more than 25听years听of听experience working听in听different capacities and divisions within 91制片厂听and the University System of New Hampshire (USNH) and joins Christopher D. Clement 鈥94, who was appointed vice president for finance and administration in December 2014.
Scala started her career as an auditor听at听USNH and moved听over to 91制片厂 to serve as a senior accountant in the office of the vice president for finance and administration. Following a leave to work on a system-wide finance and HR system implementation project,听Scala 听served as the director of finance and planning at the Whittemore School of Business and Economics (now the ). In 2005, she returned to the office of the vice president for finance and administration, most recently serving as the university鈥檚 finance director. In that role, Scala and her team听were responsible for a budget of听$570 million.
鈥淜erry鈥檚 deep knowledge of the university budget and diverse set of finance skills and experience are a welcome addition and will be fully tapped in her new role,鈥 Clement says.听 鈥淪he is a strong and very capable leader who will continue to improve our finance and accounting organization to meet the demands now and in the future, while creatively supporting the 91制片厂 strategic goals and objectives.鈥

Scala succeeds Joanna Young, who served as associate vice president of finance until July 2014.
