
A celebration for Dean Kenneth Fuld and his years of service to the Department of Psychology, the College of Liberal Arts and the 91制片厂 will take place on Friday, April 15, 2016 at 3:00 p.m. in the Huddleston Hall Ballroom. Dean Fuld will be stepping down in June of 2016. Refreshments will be served. All are welcome.

Fuld joined the 91制片厂 Psychology Department in 1979 after spending three years as a National Institutes of Health post-doctoral fellow at Brown University. He earned his Ph. D. in psychology from Dartmouth College and his B.A. in psychology from Northeastern University. After serving as chair of 91制片厂鈥檚 Psychology Department for more than eight years, Fuld joined the Dean鈥檚 Office as Associate Dean in January 2008. He was appointed Interim Dean in July of that year, and became Dean in July 2010. Fuld鈥檚 field of research, broadly construed, is neuroscience, with an emphasis on vision and visual perception. He has published in leading journals on the topics of color vision, spatial vision, and physiological optics and has taught courses ranging from Introduction to Psychology at the undergraduate level to advanced seminars in color vision and the development of vision at the graduate level.
