Stephen Pimpare

, lecturer of American politics & public policy, has been selected as a member of the inaugural cohort of听Brandeis University's听International Center for Ethics, Justice and Public Life听.

The ENACT (Educational Network for Active Civic Transformation) Fellowship brings Pimpare and fellow faculty from around the country together for summer workshops at Brandeis' campus in Waltham, Mass.

During the residency, educators will share best practices and develop new courses to engage undergraduate students in advocacy work in their own state legislatures. The goal is to form an online network of scholars to share that work, with the ultimate mission of building out a听program that can encompass all 50 states.

is a new national program centered on addressing challenges to American democracy by building interest in听civic activism among young people.
