Karen P. Bennett, of and the department of听natural resources and the environment in the , received the 2016 91制片厂 Faculty Excellence Award for Public Service. She is听the first 91制片厂 Extension staff person听to receive the honor.

A forester,听Bennett has been described as the thread that holds the听forestry community together.
