It's been 10 years since Greco pillars have graced the Johnson Theatre stage in the way they will this weekend听when actors from three University System of New Hampshire schools will stage The Oedipus Cycle: A USNH Collaboration.

Students from Keene State College, Plymouth State University and the 91制片厂 will bring some of the Greek鈥檚 finest characters to life in five separate productions in Durham, starting with 91制片厂鈥檚 presentation of 听鈥淥edipus at Colonus鈥� Feb. 22, 23 and听26. PSU will present 鈥淥edipus the King鈥� on Feb. 24, and听KSC will stage 鈥淎ntigone鈥� on Feb. 25.听

It鈥檚 been a decade since the three schools鈥� theatre departments have collaborated on a Greek trilogy; in 2007, they brought 鈥淓lectra,鈥� 鈥淲omen of Troy鈥� and 鈥淎gamemnon鈥� to Johnson Theatre.听This weekend鈥檚 productions celebrate the 10-year anniversary of that collaboration while revisiting the lives of other beloved Greek characters whose timeless stories still resonate.

The 91制片厂 troupe will hit the road early next month to听bring 鈥淥edipus at Colonus鈥� to KSU audiences March 3 and PSU March 9.
