Hubbell Foundation Donates $50,000 to 91制片厂 STEM Initiatives
Funds will support 91制片厂 Tech Camp, scholarships for underrepresented students in engineering programs

On March 22, representatives from Hubbell joined 91制片厂 students, faculty and staff at 91制片厂 Manchester to present a $50,000 donation on behalf of the Hubbell Foundation. The funds will support science, technology, engineering and math (STEM) initiatives at the University鈥檚 Durham and Manchester campuses.
The check was presented by Dina Masotto, vice president of human resources at Hubbell Construction and Energy, and David Smith, vice president and general manager at听, a Manchester-based subsidiary of Hubbell Inc. that manufactures connector solutions for the industrial, energy, construction, telecommunication, petrochemical and transportation industries.
The majority of the funds will be used to create scholarships for underrepresented students in the听听or听听programs at Manchester or the听听at Durham. The remaining funds will be used to support听, a set of summer programs offered by 91制片厂鈥檚 College of Engineering and Physical Sciences in Durham designed to increase STEM literacy among students in grades six through 12.
