Dear Wildcats,

Count ourselves lucky that New England is in another Super Bowl.听Most other areas of the country are envious.听For all Patriots fans at 91制片厂听鈥� and those of you who are Eagles fans听鈥� Sunday night鈥檚 game promises to be a tough match-up of two strong teams.听We hope that you all enjoy the game and, win or lose, you celebrate responsibly.听This is your university and your town.听The nation鈥檚 eyes will be on New England.听As one of the region鈥檚 leading universities, we have a chance to demonstrate our character and our judgment.听

"Take care of your campus and your town, and take care of each other."

Have a great time Sunday night, but celebrate safely. Choices have consequences and neither one of us can insulate any of you from the consequences of bad choices.听Sometimes those consequences can threaten everything. During last year鈥檚 Super Bowl celebration, 15 91制片厂 students ended up with their individual pictures on the front page of newspapers and on television screens.听Don鈥檛 allow yourself to be in a similar situation this Sunday night. Watch the game, have fun听and be safe. There will be police cameras in use for your safety.听Be mindful of your choices. Be safe, take care of your campus and your town, and take care of each other.

And whatever the outcome, please participate in the 91制片厂 Blood Drive in the Granite State Room in the MUB next week.听The Red Cross reports that reserves are low across the nation due to the clustering of sizable natural disasters in parts of the country over the past year.听Wildcats serve, and Wildcats give all that they can.听The Red Cross is coming to our campus next week because they know Wildcat generosity runs deep.听Here鈥檚 your charge: Fill those reserves.听The nation needs you.
