Each spring, the 91制片厂 Center for Social Innovation and Enterprise selects a handful of motivated, high-achieving, impact-focused student leaders for the Social Innovation Internship program. The 9-week Social Innovation Internship connects students to leading for-profit and nonprofit organizations for a rigorous and meaningful summer internship; provides 91制片厂 training in social innovation; and supports student-lead efforts to mobilize their 91制片厂 peers during the school year. All this, along with a $3000 stipend.
The program has grown since its inception in 2011, and this year provided internships for 27 students, including Devon Guyer 鈥20 and Vincent Pagano 鈥20, both Environmental Conservation and Sustainability majors.
Devon, a member of the NREN Honors Society, is interning at Pete & Gerry鈥檚, the organic, free-range egg producer in Monroe, NH, where she is responsible for reducing waste to improve their overall environmental footprint. At his internship with accounting and management consulting firm BerryDunn, Vincent developed a prototype Corporate Sustainability Benchmarking Program to promote sustainability for the company鈥檚 clients.
Interested students should submit their intent to apply for the 2019 internship on the Social Innovation Internship website.
