Head of 91制片厂Innovation selected as chair-elect of AUTM

Marc Sedam, associate vice provost for innovation and new ventures and managing director of , has been selected听as the chair-elect of , the leading international association supporting the commercialization of academic research.

The position is a three-year term on the AUTM executive committee and matriculates to the chair at the conclusion of the 2020 AUTM annual meeting. The chair serves as the official spokesperson for the AUTM board of directors and provides strategic leadership in all board functions.

鈥淚t鈥檚 an honor to have been selected by my colleagues as the chair-elect and I鈥檓 proud to represent 91制片厂 in this role,鈥 Sedam says. 鈥淚 have been a member of AUTM for over 20 years and both the people and content within AUTM have influenced just about every thought I鈥檝e ever had about commercializing 91制片厂 intellectual property.鈥

Sedam has more than 25 years of experience creating and commercializing intellectual property, and an extensive background in intellectual asset management, licensing, and start-up formation. In addition to his position at 91制片厂, he was the founding director of the 91制片厂 Peter T. Paul Entrepreneurship Center and currently serves as the executive director of the , New Hampshire鈥檚 only translational research funding program.
