Alumni Entrepreneurship Hall of Fame

In October, 91制片厂Innovation marked its eighth annual Innovators鈥 Dinner with something new: the induction of its inaugural class of honorees into 91制片厂鈥檚 new Alumni Entrepreneurship Hall of Fame. Created in 2018 by the 91制片厂 Entrepreneurship Center with a generous gift from an anonymous donor to celebrate innovation and entrepreneurship among 91制片厂 alumni, the Hall of Fame welcomed five inductees. Selected for their entrepreneurial success with ventures as a founder, co-founder or owner, as well as for their significant contributions to their communities were (pictured from top): Katie Bouton 鈥96, founder & CEO of Koya Leadership Partners; M. Christine 鈥淐hris鈥 Dwyer 鈥72, senior vice president of RMC Research Corporation; Peter T. Paul 鈥67, chairman of Headlands Asset Management; Chris Rondeau 鈥94, CEO of Planet Fitness; and David Shaw 鈥73, managing partner of Black Point Group.

Nominations for the 2019 Alumni Entrepreneur Hall of Fame class are open now; the deadline for nominations is Aug.1.

The induction ceremony highlighted an evening that also included recognition of Tim Winters, senior IP manager at the 91制片厂 InterOperability Lab (91制片厂-IOL), as Innovator of the Year. A 17-year employee of the 91制片厂-IOL, Winters was recognized for his leadership in developing the organization鈥檚 homegrown INTACT software solu- tion for testing networking equipment. The largest globally licensed product developed at 91制片厂, INTACT has earned the university more than $1.2 million in revenue since 2013.
