Hundreds of 91制片厂 employees, including five who received the 2018 Presidential Award of Excellence, were honored for their talents and dedication to the university during a staff recognition ceremony held May 4 in the MUB鈥檚 Granite State Room. Vice president for enrollment management Victoria Dutcher presented the awards.

鈥淭hese recipients are the human faces behind our success across 91制片厂,鈥� Dutcher said. 鈥淭hey demonstrate excellence every day.鈥�

Six employees were recognized for more than four decades of service.听Robert Bennett of Facilities, Linda Tibbetts of the Earth Systems Research Center, Mylinda Woodward of the 91制片厂 Library, and Jean Mitchell of Athletics were recognized for 40 years of service while听Diana听Couture of the Office of the Senior Vice Provost for Research and James Williams of the听College of Engineering and Physical Sciences (physics department)听were honored for听45 years of service to the university. More than 200听employees who have been at 91制片厂 for at least 10 years received听years-of-service recognition.听

University community members submit nominations听for the Presidential Award of Excellence. A committee of judges selects five nominees whose outstanding work has contributed to the goals of the 91制片厂 strategic plan.
