Former U.S. and听New Hampshire Poet听Laureate听Donald Hall, who shared more than 350,000 of his works with the 91制片厂 Library, died Saturday, June 23. He was 89.

The author of numerous books of poetry and prose, Hall was a longtime resident of New Hampshire. He is known by many for his children's book "Ox-Cart Man." He was Poet Laureate of New Hampshire from 1984-1989 and served as U.S. Poet Laureate from 2006-2007.

The are held at 91制片厂. In 2017, 91制片厂鈥檚 Milne Special Collections hosted an exhibit of books from Hall鈥檚 personal library.

According to his Hall published his final collection of verse, 鈥淭he Selected Poems of Donald Hall,鈥� in 2015. His prose collection 鈥淓ssays After Eighty鈥� appeared in 2014, and 鈥淎 Carnival of Losses: Notes Nearing Ninety,鈥� is scheduled to be published this summer.
