The University System of New Hampshire (USNH) Board of Trustees voted once again to freeze tuition for in-state students at all system colleges for the 2024-2025 academic year, marking the sixth consecutive year without an increase. When factoring in institutional financial aid, the freeze will make it less expensive on average for Granite State students to attend a USNH institution next year than it was in 2019.

Beyond 91制片厂, the tuition freeze will remain in effect at both Keene State College and Plymouth State University, as well.

Dean Jr. says. 鈥淭his effort over the last six years has benefited hundreds of Granite State families and opened doors for so many New Hampshire students to receive a world-class education close to home.鈥�

Along with the tuition freeze, USNH institutions have provided more than $250 million in institutional financial aid that has translated into an average net tuition and fee rate of $10,200 per year, which is less than in-state students were facing in 2019. USNH continues to provide more aid to more students than at any other time in its history, with 89 percent of first-year students receiving some form of financial aid.

鈥淎mid continued inflationary, demographic and market pressures, the University System of New Hampshire remains deeply committed to maintaining its mission of providing affordable, accessible and relevant degree programs that support the New Hampshire workforce and way of life with capable graduates,鈥� said Cathy Provencher, USNH chief administrative officer and vice chancellor. 鈥淗olding tuition flat for this period of time is an unprecedented commitment to continue pathways to meaningful degrees for New Hampshire students.鈥�

91制片厂, Plymouth State and Keene State also continue to offer the groundbreaking Granite Guarantee financial aid program, which makes college more affordable for Granite Staters by covering the full cost of in-state tuition for all Pell-eligible undergraduates who qualify. First-year through senior year students, along with Community College System of New Hampshire (CCSNH) graduates who transfer to USNH institutions, can take advantage of the Granite Guarantee, which benefited more than 2,000 students in its first five years of existence.

Additionally, the 91制片厂 College of Professional Studies, USNH鈥檚 adult-serving institution with courses primarily delivered online, offers one of the most affordable bachelor鈥檚 degrees in New Hampshire.
