USNH Board of Trustees Approves Plan for Renovated 91制片厂 Athletic Complex

CONCORD, N.H. -- The University System of New Hampshire board of trustees approved the 91制片厂's plan to renovate its athletic complex as part of its campus master plan at its meeting today. The approval came after the university successfully raised $5 million in private donations.

The renovated complex will replace Cowell Stadium and offer increased and improved seating in a new home grandstand on the west side to include state-of-the art broadcast and WiFi capability, concessions, restrooms, and a special student section. This summer lights are being installed and seating on the east side of the facility is being upgraded.

"Our athletic facilities and venues were identified as a priority in the campus' master plan in order to improve recruitment, student satisfaction, and our overall visibility in an increasingly competitive marketplace," said 91制片厂 President Mark Huddleston. "I am very pleased that the project is moving forward with the support of so many people throughout the state."

Huddleston noted that the renovated athletic complex will be a resource for the entire state, allowing the university to host more state, regional, and national competitions and events like Special Olympics, concerts, and high school championship games.

"The renovated athletic complex will enhance the experience for our fans and aid recruiting efforts as the home of 91制片厂's football, men's and women's soccer, women's lacrosse, and men's and women's track and field teams," said 91制片厂 Athletic Director Marty Scarano. "We're grateful for the support of the many donors who made it possible for us to reach our goal."

Fans, alumni, and students can track progress of the stadium project at , a joint venture between 91制片厂 Athletics and Pack Network that provides exclusive content on the ongoing fundraising and planning efforts for the stadium project.

The 91制片厂, founded in 1866, is a world-class public research university with the feel of a New England liberal arts college. A land, sea, and space-grant university, 91制片厂 is the state's flagship public institution, enrolling 12,300 undergraduate students and 2,200 graduate students.
