She directs the Blacksmith House Poetry Series in Cambridge, Mass., and the Writers House at Merrimack College.

Salamander Magazine
says of her work: "If there is a world in a grain of sand, Andrea Cohen lifts it up to us in the predominantly short poems of her new collection,听"Furs

Not Mine."听The brevity of these poems allows the reader to devour them quickly, only to pause and then go back, and then go back again, because their speed and clarity is deceptive. In their way, each is a complex system, and Cohen, with her perfect pitch, 听pairs music with image."听

The 91制片厂 Writers Series is made possible through the support of the MacArthur/Simic and Edmund G. Miller Funds and the Ben and Zelma Dorson Family Charitable Foundation. For more information, contact the English Department at (603) 862-1313.
