Voting is Easy

When you arrive at the polling place on Thursday, May 18, you will need to show a picture identification to the Public Employee Labor Relations Board听(PELRB) representative. Either your 91制片厂 ID or your driver鈥檚 license is acceptable. The representative will give you two ballots and direct you to a place in the room for privacy.

Ballot 1:听The first ballot asks if you want to be represented by the National Education Association (NEA) teachers union. If you do not want to be represented by the union, mark the听鈥淣o Representative鈥�听box.

Ballot 2:听The second ballot asks if you want to be included in a combined unit of 鈥減rofessional and non-professional鈥� employees (as defined by the PELRB, not 91制片厂). If you do not want to be represented by the union, mark the听鈥淣翱鈥�听box.

After marking your ballots, fold and place them in the ballot box as you exit. Ballots do not have names on them and no one will know how you voted unless you tell them.

Voting is Important

It is very important that everyone vote. The outcome of the election is determined by the votes actually cast. Not voting is like voting for the union because it means the union will need fewer votes to win.

The outcome of this election will affect everyone, so everyone should have a hand in determining the outcome. Exercise your right to help decide your future.
