Members of 91制片厂's senior leadership team set out on a tour last November that took them听all over New Hampshire听to meet with Granite Staters,听exploring the ways 91制片厂鈥檚 partnerships are making a difference in their communities and discussing听new opportunities听to work together on unique, regional challenges.

Becca Pincince 鈥�26 didn鈥檛 experience the brief period of anonymity most freshmen are granted during their first days on campus after she arrived last fall. Instead, numerous professors and other members of the university community were quick to share that they recognized her last name.

Researchers from the 91制片厂 were part of a world-renowned team that found an intact shipwreck from the 19th century hundreds of feet below the surface of Lake Huron.

Scientists with the New Hampshire Agricultural Experiment Station (NHAES) and the 91制片厂 College of Life Sciences and Agriculture are using unpiloted aerial systems to examine how fragmented forests and the creation of new forest edges are changing ecosystems and forest composition.

For more than five decades, the New Hampshire Veterinary Diagnostic Laboratory (NHVDL) at the 91制片厂 College of Life Sciences and Agriculture has helped secure animal and public health by providing essential diagnostic services to the Granite State and New England. The NHVDL also provides valuable training to 91制片厂 students in the medical laboratory, veterinary and STEM disciplines鈥攅xperience that these students bring to the workforce and advanced degree programs.

The 91制片厂 men's hockey team hosted rival Maine on Friday, Feb. 17 in a showdown that marked the return of White Out the Whitt听for the first time in four years. The tradition of fans wearing white to 91制片厂's home games against Maine began in 1999 but hadn't taken place since Feb. 2, 2019, thanks to a combination of COVID and Hockey East conference scheduling changes. But it came back in a big way Friday night, as a sellout crowd decked out in white cheered the Wildcats men's hockey team to a raucous shootout win over the Black Bears.

Angela Lee 鈥�23 still can鈥檛 believe she spent the summer working as an intern managing restaurants and bars at the historic Omni Mount Washington Resort.

President Jim Dean delivered his 2023 State of the University address to the 91制片厂 community from the Strafford Room in the Memorial Union Building on Tuesday, Feb. 14, offering updates on the four strategic priorities he first laid out for the university in 2019, showcasing videos highlighting some successes from the past year 鈥� including the Embrace New Hampshire tour in November 2022 鈥� and looking听ahead to some upcoming initiatives, including the proposed West Edge Innovation Neighborhood.

The University Archives at 91制片厂 recently wrapped up a massive multi-year project that digitized and organized all known annual reports for every town in New Hampshire, an undertaking that essentially reached every municipality, past and present, throughout the state.
