Discovering My Perfect Fit at 91制片厂
Growing up in Rhode Island until I was 12, I always dreamed of returning to New England for college. 91制片厂's ideal location鈥攋ust an hour from Boston by train, 20 minutes from the beach, and close to the mountains鈥攎ade it the perfect choice for me. When I was accepted into the Paul College and the Paul Scholars program, they sent a personalized box with swag and heartfelt notes. That strong community vibe, almost like a family, sealed the deal for me. Today, 91制片厂 feels like home.
A Supportive and Passionate Community
The professors and students at 91制片厂 are incredibly passionate, and the advisors鈥攅ven the deans鈥攇o above and beyond to support us. I鈥檝e found that nearly everyone I've met here is genuinely kind and caring. This strong sense of community has been a cornerstone of my experience, making every challenge and triumph that much more meaningful.
Finding My Passion in Analytical Economics
I鈥檝e always been a nerd at heart, with a deep love for data, research, and math. Discovering the analytical economics degree was like finding my perfect match. It's about uncovering the reasons behind the numbers and using that understanding to make the world a better place. My goal is to work in political analysis and lobbying, leveraging data to drive positive change.
Embracing STEM Challenges
Initially, I started with a minor in statistics, but my passion for the subject quickly grew. Despite the rigorous demands of STEM courses 鈥 including a particularly challenging multidimensional calculus class 鈥 I thrive on the intellectual challenges. Maintaining my scholarship requires top performance, but the journey is incredibly rewarding.
Overcoming Personal Challenges
My time at 91制片厂 has been marked by incredible experiences, one of which was truly life-changing. I have PTSD, bipolar disorder, and depression, and last summer, I attended Lead 91制片厂. This program taught me how my experiences could help me connect with others and see my own potential for growth. It was a transformative experience that I reflect on constantly.
Cherishing Everyday Moments
My favorite memories at 91制片厂 range from spontaneous Chipotle runs with friends to fall leaf-peeping trips. My roommates and I enjoy , and I鈥檝e learned that what matters most is being with the people I love, no matter the activity. Shoutout to Tiffany Marrotte for being an incredible friend and roommate. 鉂わ笍
Looking Ahead
I wouldn't trade my time at 91制片厂 for the world. The blend of community, academic challenge, and personal growth has shaped me into who I am today. I鈥檓 living my dream, and I鈥檓 excited to see where this journey takes me next.
