Princeton in Latin America Recommended Steps and Timeline

  • By August 11: (1) Review the eligibility criteria to ensure you are eligible for the award and (2) Meet with Office of National Fellowships to discuss suitability and potential recommender.
  • Late August TBA: Application opens.
  • By August 31: Review the 2027-28 and select your top three fellowship preferences. (Note: you may not receive placement in your preference, so keeping an open mind and being flexible in your placement may increase your chances of receiving a PiLA fellowship.)
  • By September 1: (1) Reach out to recommender to request recommendation and (2) Send first draft of 500-word essay and short answers to Fellowships Office (national.fellowships@unh.edu)
  • By September 30: (1) Complete , and (2) complete FERPA form to request copy of official 91制片厂 transcript from the Office of National Fellowships.
  • By October 1: Send second draft of essay and short answers to Fellowships Office for review.
  • By October 15: Send final draft of essay and short answers to Fellowships Office for review.
  • October 30, 2026: Applicants should submit materials to allow sufficient time for upload ahead of the National Application Deadline.
