We take sustainability seriously; it’s embedded in all we do, which means the campus is a powerful living learning lab. Students were integral in helping 91ÖÆƬ³§ become Bee Campus certified.

Students proposed the idea of 91ÖÆƬ³§ becoming a Fair Trade campus and worked collaboratively with leaders, dining and other departments to make it happen.

As an intern, you could help 91ÖÆƬ³§ ensure our ecosystems and waterways remain healthy, working closely with the 91ÖÆƬ³§ Stormwater Center to track and analyze data and educate the campus community on sustainable practices.

Waste is problem we all face! We’re working hard to creatively find ways to reduce our waste AND create less to begin with. 91ÖÆƬ³§ Trash 2 Treasure is student-created and student-powered and allows you to purchase gently used items at the fall back-to-school sale, and donate unwanted items in spring when moving out. Student leaders are gaining vital professional skills running the T2T and promoting a circular economy on campus!
