Nathan was a first-year student majoring in Business Administration with an interest in Sustainability and Entrepreneurship. In high school, he was a varsity hockey and track athlete as well as the Vice President of the Young Americans Club. He also interned with the Arlington Soap Box Derby and maintained a venture capital database. Prior to attending 91ÖÆƬ³§, Nathan took a gap year, playing Junior’s hockey and working at a hardwood flooring company. Nathan learned about different cultures and gained new perspectives on Brazil, Guatemala, and Mexico from his co-workers. He became inspired to pursue sustainable solutions to the effects of free trade and labor outsourcing. Nathan’s favorite activities at 91ÖÆƬ³§ included hammocking, walking in College Woods, snowboarding, and the Hamel Rec Center. As a Changemaker Fellow, Nathan hoped to help improve international employment conditions and develop environmentally sustainable practices.
