Campus sprung to life听with the arrival of students and their families for move-in weekend beginning Aug. 21, signaling the start of a new academic year. A welcoming crew of Wildcats - including the Cat Pack Captains as well as 91制片厂 President Elizabeth Chilton and her dog, Wally - helped move belongings into dorm rooms and get everyone settled on campus. We were there to catch the action throughout the weekend, and have the photo and video highlights to prove it.

91制片厂 economist Karen Conway鈥檚 new study finds that walkable neighborhoods helped buffer pandemic-related mental health declines. Using national data, she and collaborator Andrea Menclova showed that even modest increases in walkability reduced deterioration, suggesting investments in sidewalks and neighborhood design can serve as cost-effective public health interventions.

Four Recent Grads Secure Fulbright Grants to Study Internationally

Four recent 91制片厂 graduates were named Fulbright recipients this spring, earning grants that will allow them to further their education in Scotland, Jordan, Germany, and Taiwan, respectively.

Jake Gehrung 鈥20, Silas McIntire 鈥23, Sydney Seaver 鈥24 and Madison Smith 鈥23 received the recognition. Additionally, Lina Adjout 鈥21 was recognized as an alternate.
