91制片厂 held its annual Pride and Pancakes breakfast to celebrate the LGBTQIA+ community Tuesday, April 8, honoring the recipients of this year鈥檚 Bill Kidder LGBTQIA+ Awards and welcoming Sandra Denoncour, executive director of the Joan G. Lovering Health Center, to deliver a keynote speech.

The celebration 鈥� formerly known as the LGBTQ+ and Ally Pancake Breakfast 鈥� was held in the Granite State Room in the MUB and was streamed online for additional virtual attendees. This year鈥檚 event marked the 32nd annual gathering.

David Shaw 鈥�73, an entrepreneur and philanthropist whose family funded the creation of the Shaw Innovation Explorers Program at 91制片厂, visited campus April 1 for a lunch with students in the program and 91制片厂 president Elizabeth Chilton, as well as a fireside chat about his new book, 鈥淲ave Making: Inspired by Impact.鈥�

In a high school garage turned engineering lab, 91制片厂 President Elizabeth Chilton recently met with a team of scuba-certified students at Sanborn Regional High School (SRHS) who are building and racing human-powered submarines 鈥� thanks in part to a unique partnership with 91制片厂.

The 91制片厂 community rallied together to once again make this year鈥檚 (603) Challenge a record-setting success, with more than 11,800 donors combining to raise more than $3.6 million for the university 鈥� the most money ever raised during a single challenge. It was the 11th consecutive year that the challenge has exceeded the previous year鈥檚 results.
