Starting this fall, a new transfer agreement will connect the Nashua Community College criminal justice students with the听.听

As part of an effort to encourage more young women to choose careers in technology, the National Center for Women & Information Technology (NCWIT) and 91制片厂 at Manchester will recognize 18 high school students and one educator for their accomplishments and aspirations in computing and technology. The award event will be held at 91制片厂 Manchester on Saturday, April 29 from 10 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. and will feature a keynote address by Middlebury College Computer Science Professor Amy Briggs.

Patrick Tufts, president and CEO of Granite United Way, is the 2017 Granite State Award recipient.

Patrick Tufts, president and CEO of听, has been an advocate for education, health and economic stability in New Hampshire communities for more than a decade. For his outstanding achievements, service and contributions to New Hampshire, he will be recognized with the 2017 Granite State Award at 91制片厂 Manchester鈥檚 commencement ceremony on May 18.

Lizz Maurais 鈥�19 is set to graduate from 91制片厂 Manchester this May, a year earlier than she initially expected. But in just three years, the听听has earned multiple research awards, examined pancreatic cancer cells, researched microbial genomics and spent 10 weeks at a laboratory in California.

Dr. Daniel Seichepine, assistant professor of neuropsychology,听听to discuss recent discoveries into Alzheimer's Disease, and how healthcare providers are focusing more on prevention.

A clinical neuropsychologist specializing in dementia and sports-related traumatic brain injury, Seichepine addressed how difficult this degenerative neurological condition is to treat.

On March 22, representatives from Hubbell joined 91制片厂 students, faculty and staff at 91制片厂 Manchester to present a $50,000 donation on behalf of the Hubbell Foundation. The funds will support science, technology, engineering and math (STEM) initiatives at the University鈥檚 Durham and Manchester campuses.
