Jane Simon Stricker 鈥�70 attended her first of many 91制片厂 reunions when she was a child. They were a family affair. Her mother, Selma Bacon Simon 鈥�42, was president of her 91制片厂 class until the day she died and over the years presented checks for class gifts to a number of 91制片厂 presidents. 鈥淪he loved them all,鈥� Stricker says. Her father, Edward Simon 鈥�42H, always at Selma鈥檚 side, was famous for the reunion hospitality suites he would set up at the Ramada Inn in Dover, welcoming a continuous stream of returning alumni.

Portsmouth Listens will be conducting a community conversation focusing on equity and inclusion. She was petrified.

鈥淚 mean, here I am about to meet this guy who is paying for my education... I was scared to disappoint him, and I was nervous,鈥� Grant remembers.
