In the early stages of his career, assistant professor of physics and materials science Jiadong Zang is making waves. For his research prowess, Zang was recently selected as the听听in the field of magnetism.

According to听Jessica Carson, assistant research professor at the Carsey School, in the nation's 199听rural counties where seasonal housing acounts for 25% or more of all housing units, average cases per 100,000 people were more than twice as high as in other rural countries and 15% higher than in urban areas.听The research suggests that rural scenery has drawn visitors seeking to escape densely populated metropolitian areas and听who likely brought the virus with them.

Twenty-one years ago, the inaugural 91制片厂 Undergraduate Research Conference fielded the work of some 159 students over the course of two days. Last year, on the 20th anniversary of the event, that number had swelled to more than 2,000 students from all majors and spanned 13 days.听听

Now that many of the mechanics of moving out and switching to online instruction are behind us, it鈥檚 begun to sink in for our kids just how much they have lost, even if they are not (heaven forbid) faced with the loss of a loved one. Four years ago, associate professor of kinesiology Jayson Seaman visited the Colorado Outward Bound School in Leadville, CO, where he met with 91制片厂 alum and the school鈥檚 director of admissions Ben Fickett 鈥�16. They worked together to arrange a transfer of the school鈥檚 significant collection of Outward Bound records to the 91制片厂.
