Dean Kamen, renowned entrepreneur, inventor and holder of more than 440 U.S. and foreign patents, will deliver the keynote address at the 91制片厂 at Manchester鈥檚 commencement ceremony Thursday, May 17, 2018.

More than 200 representatives from local colleges and nonprofits gathered on April 10 to celebrate those who demonstrate exceptional community service in higher education. The Campus Compact for New Hampshire (CCNH) Presidents鈥� Awards recognize students, faculty, staff and local organizations that actively contribute to the betterment of their campus and community. 91制片厂 Manchester鈥檚 commitment to community service is well represented among this year鈥檚 recipients: the Neuropsychology/Psychology Club (Leadership Award); Stephanie Kirylych (Good Steward Award); and the Mental Health Center of Greater Manchester (Community Partner Award).

Students and faculty from 91制片厂 Manchester and local community colleges have partnered听on a collaborative project researching yeast prions, abnormally formed proteins that could possibly hold answers to questions about human neurodegenerative diseases such as Alzheimer鈥檚, Huntington鈥檚 and Parkinson鈥檚.

Hassan Essa '19 was two years old when he and his family left Kuwait for Manchester. Now, the 20-year-old biological sciences major and N.H. Air National Guardsman is running for city alderman.

Last week, middle school students from the Manchester School District English Learner (EL) Summer Program arrived at the STEM Discovery Lab to participate in Design Make Code, a week-long program designed to introduce kids to computing and engineering.
