Looking back on your time at 91制片厂 so far, what are you most proud of and why?
I am most proud of my campus involvement during my time at 91制片厂. I came into college knowing that I was passionate about leadership and being involved on campus, but wasn't sure exactly how to go about it. I quickly found my niche by joining a variety of organizations which helped me to form connections and be presented with opportunities I never would have imagined having.

Even though she鈥檚 a computer science major, Mallorie Biron 鈥�20 had never participated in a 24-hour hackathon. But when she signed on for this year鈥檚 (the third) Hack NH, she found out that majors don鈥檛 matter; the hackathon is open to 91制片厂 students from all colleges.

There are times in the Pakistani neighborhood where Ali Asghar 鈥�20 grew up that the electricity still goes out for hours; sometimes, half the day. It is estimated that some 50 million people across the country don鈥檛 have access to the energy grid. If all goes according to plan, Asghar could be part of the future that changes that.

The American Physiological Society (APS) has recognized Patricia Halpin, assistant professor of听听and biotechnology, with the 2017 New Investigator Award.

Walking King, a Rottweiler service dog, through the hallways of听and seeing the smiles on patient and caretaker faces was just one of many great experiences Alexandra Twomey had during her spring internship.

Before Rosali Salemi started taking classes at Nashua Community College, her creative outlet was to redesign book and DVD covers using desktop publishing programs.

鈥淚 didn鈥檛 like the covers they came with, so I designed my own,鈥� said Salemi. 鈥淚 have a collection of over a thousand books and DVDs. I spend a lot of time looking at them, so I wanted them to look appealing.鈥�

The time spent tinkering with design software was also the start of her budding interest in computers.

When she received her 91制片厂 diploma on May 19, 2016, Becky Baker became the first graduate of 91制片厂 Manchester鈥檚听. Within a week, she accepted the position of Laboratory Scientist Trainee in the Virology/STD section of the Public Health Laboratories in Concord, N.H.

In December of 1977, David Ferran 鈥�78 was a senior at 91制片厂 and happily scheming to travel the world after graduationas a ski instructor and bartender. Then, his father lost his job. His father was a gifted engineer and wanted to start his own business but needed someone to manage it. Good thing his son was graduating with a business degree from the Peter T. Paul College (then the Whittemore School of Business and Economics).

鈥淚 got a great education at 91制片厂 and was thrown into Silicon Valley before it was called Silicon Valley. I didn鈥檛 really know what I was doing,鈥� Ferran says.

Each year, the 91制片厂鈥檚 Global Education Center awards competitive grants for faculty to enhance their international engagement and development. The Center recently selected听, assistant professor of听听and听, to receive one of the International Development Grants.

With finals week upon us, students are feeling the pressure of the end of the semester.听The papers and exams start to pile up and it seems that the work will never end. Here are听a few simple ways to help get rid of some of that stress.
