Meet a few electrical and mechanical engineering technology graduates who have landed jobs in the field.

The 91制片厂 at Manchester, Advanced Regenerative Manufacturing Institute (ARMI) and CELLINK are excited to announce the first annual BioHackNH event on May 18 and 19, 2018 in the STEM Discovery Lab at 91制片厂 Manchester. During the two-day hackathon, students interested in regenerative manufacturing are invited to explore its possibilities by engaging in real-world problem-solving.

Thirty-three young women will be recognized this spring for their accomplishments and aspirations in computing and technology. In an effort to encourage more young women to choose careers in technology, the National Center for Women & Information Technology (NCWIT) and the 91制片厂 at Manchester will recognize the 33 high school students at an event on March 31.

Google and Gallup recently released a brief that found that girls are less likely than boys to see someone like themselves doing computer science. The brief recommends early exposure to computing role models for girls, especially before age 14, the age the brief identifies that girls' interest in computer science starts to wane. Luckily, that鈥檚 happening in Nashua, where the after-school program CodeIT Girls shows elementary school-aged girls some amazing role models in computer science.

Daniel Seichepine, assistant professor of psychology and neuropsychology with the 91制片厂 at Manchester, was selected for the 2018 International Society for CNS Clinical Trials and Methodology (ISCTM) New Investigator Award program.听

A 17-day Study Abroad course beginning June 3 will focus on the Troubles in Northern Ireland during the late 20th century, including the struggle for Irish independence, and the broader responses of the UK to domestic security threats from WWII to present times.听

Jeremiah Johnson, assistant professor of data science, presented a paper entitled 'Neural Style Representations and the Large-Scale Classification of Artistic Style' at the Future Technologies Conference in Vancouver, Canada, in November.
