Graduation approaching can be a scary time, with finals and job searching looming in the near future. But here is some great news: You don鈥檛 have to wait until after you graduate to start looking for jobs! Two graduates tell the story of how they landed jobs before receiving their diplomas.

Biology major Kyle Vynorius has worked closely with Psychology Professor Dr. Daniel Seichepine on a research project spanning over two years, studying the effects of mild traumatic brain injuries (mTBIs) on otherwise healthy college students. Vynorius recently presented their findings at a conference in Boston.

Pediatricians see children with ear infections or injuries pretty often. But when a child has a problem that isn鈥檛 physical, it may be harder for the doctor to know what to look for. As part of a grant-funded project, 91制片厂 Manchester Assistant Professor of Psychology Nicholas Mian has developed a video-based training program for pediatric residents to help them identify childhood anxiety disorders.

The 91制片厂 at Manchester announced today a new Bachelor of Science degree in Neuropsychology. Launching in fall 2016, the program will focus on the biological basis for human functioning, integrating core components of both psychology and biology.

After earning his diploma from Goffstown High School, Tim Labonville did what many high school graduates do, and went off to college. Two years in, he decided he wanted to serve his country. Labonville joined the Marines and was twice deployed before an injury led him to retire medically. Now a senior in the biology program, Labonville shares his story.
